Here is Scarlett, one of the most beautiful girls! She lives in my building and is attending Campbell Law School. Yes, smart and gorgeous. She agreed to come to the studio so Kristin and I could photograph her. Shooting in the studio is heaven to me! I love experimenting with different lighting and setting up the shots.

I love this shot! Ashley is Kristin’s neice who came all the way from Missouri to have Kristin take her Senior Portraits! We were in the studio finishing up with Scarlett (see above post) and I’ve learned from Markus Klinko www.markusklinko-indrani.com to look for the less ordinary backdrops to get unique shots. I had Ashley stand in front of the studio garage door and with 1 umbrella light and large fan I like the results.

Kassie works in my dentist’s office (Dr. Rebecca Schmoor) and she and her husband Bret were on their way to a Casino Night in Durham, so Kassie had the idea to stop by Bloomsbury Estates for portraits. Here are 3 of my favorites.

I love meeting and photographing a new born baby and seeing how these precious new little people react to my big black camera (that’s probably a little scarey). McKinley was such an easy baby to photograph and I look forward to seeing her grow. Her big brother, Grayson, couldn’t be more proud and loving of his new little sister.

Wake County Landfill Park

Seth and I drove to the new Wake County Landfill Park this morning and climbed what used to be a mound of trash. The walk up the gravel road is steep but once you get to the top it feels like you’re at the Blue Ridge Mountains. I think this is now the highest point in Wake County. We could see downtown Raleigh to the South and Rolesville to the North. I can’t wait to have a photoshoot up there. If there is a bride who wants to trek up the hill, I can guarantee it would be stunning. These shots were taken at about 9am – I’ll be going back for some sunset shots.

Once I set up, it only takes 15 minutes to get plenty of shots for you to choose from. Pricing for 1 person is $125 but for 2 or more the price goes down to $65 each. Package includes photo session, 4 different poses, retouching, and high resolution images on a cd. I include low resolution images on your cd so you can use your on a website and social media sites.
